Bernard founded Throat Culture in 1990 after attending a 5 day a cappella workshop led by Richard "BOB" Greene of the BOBs. Bernard writes songs for the group and assists in arranging material. Prior to Throat Culture, Bernard's musical experience consisted primarily of the shower, his car, his clarinet, saxophone, tuba and harmonica. With all his free time Bernard practices law in Circleville, Ohio, works on his house and taxis his kids all over town.
